Hobby Horse Toys were among a group of Leitrim, Fermanagh and Sligo crafts exhibited at the Formex trade show from the 29th August to 1st September in Stockholm, Sweden on the SOURCE stand. SOURCE is an initiative to promote rural craftwork and has been run in tandem with a similar group of craftworkers in Sweden. My thanks go to all at Momentum Consulting of Drumshanbo and also to Gudrun and Vikki in Sweden for all their hard work!

Hobby Horse Toys will have a stand in the prestigious craft village at the RDS Dublin Horse Show on August 9th - 13th 2006. See you there!

Irish Independent Weekend Magazine's "License2Shop" on the 18th February referred to our hobby horses as "exquisite".

Our Hobby Horses were featured in The Irish Times Magazine's "Opening Lines" on 11th February. They said "We love Dan Hillman's hand-crafted wooden hobby horses".

Since exhibiting at Showcase 2006 in the RDS we are now supplying a number of retail outlets, seven of which are within the Republic of Ireland - see our stockists list for details. Interested retailers should contact us on 00 353 71 9632212.

On 17th January 2006, we were registered as members of the The Craft Council of Ireland.

We will be selling at the Rossinver Organic Centre Christmas Fair on Sunday 4th December. All products on display at this fair are hand made by the stall holder, and must be ecologically friendly. We will bring along our milk painted range of Hobby Horses. This paint was used by the Shakers on their furniture. It is non-toxic, petrochemical and VOC free, biodgradeable and incredibly durable.

The Hobby Horses will be available to buy at the RDS National Craft Fair, 7th - 11th December. They will be for sale through The Leitrim Design House stand.
